Ben Brown

Dr. Benjamin Brown is the director of research computing and networking infrastructure at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Science, and a member of the Senior Executive Service. Dr. Brown also served as the federal program manager for ESnet, the Office of Science’s high performance network user facility that serves tens of thousands of researchers—both in and outside DOE. Dr. Brown has held multiple leadership positions within DOE. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Harvard University and a Doctoral degree in Optics from the University of Rochester.
